Why PWI* is on your credit card or bank statement
Your monthly credit card or bank statement may contain the descriptor, PWI*. This descriptor appeared on your credit card or bank statement because your card was used to purchase from a game or a website that uses Paymentwall as a payment platform.
Paymentwall works with different verticals worldwide, such as online gaming, dating websites, Software as a Service (SaaS), e-learnings, VPNs, Minecraft servers, and more. Some of the well-known companies and projects that we are working with include GommeHD, Ultimate Guitar, IMVU, SEGA, Corel, World of Tanks and iRacing.
If you used your credit or debit card at any one of our business partners, the descriptor on your credit card or bank statement will be PWI*.
In case you did not make a purchase from one of our partners, you can contact us immediately to request for a refund.

Note: If you did not make a purchase at any of our partners, your card may have been used by a different person, such as a family member, or it may have been stolen.
