Paymentwall is looking to hire an Accountant that will support the company’s finance team. As an Accountant, you ensure accurate and timely entries and analyses of accounts, reconciliations, billing, and financial statements using generally accepted accounting principles, while adhering to Paymentwall’s financial policies and standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:


  • Generate timekeeping and payroll report, validate payroll deductibles including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-Ibig contributions, and withholding tax;

  • Ensure timely preparation of bi-monthly payroll, tax annualization on compensation and of employees’ BIR 2316;

  • Be the point of contact of employees on their concerns regarding payroll, government mandated deductions, and benefits

Bookkeeping and General Accounting:

  • Track expenses and accounts payable transactions;

  • Perform accounts and bank reconciliation;  

  • Accurately tag and file invoices;

  • Utilize Quickbooks, Expensify, or other related accounting tools to accurately track and document expenses and tag invoices;

  • Ensure employee reimbursements and expenses are documented and paid accurately following Paymentwall’s financial policies;


  • Liaise with government agencies such as BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, HDMF, SEC, PEZA and City Office to comply with documentary and legal requirements;

  • Coordinate and be the point of contact of external companies such as banks, vendors, and suppliers regarding payments.

 What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;

  • (2-4) years of experience in Accounting;

  • CPA License not required but preferred;
  • (1) year experience using Quickbooks and/or other related similar accounting software;

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;

  • Working knowledge and experience in taxation and government contributions for SSS, Pag-Ibig, and PhilHealth.

  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
