We are looking for experienced Release Managers to be part of our team in Hanoi. Paymentwall Hanoi team will have the access to unique know-hows in processing payments across the world it will also be exposed to non-trivial architectural challenges, including high-availability and low-latency micro services, single sign-on, lightweight and streamlined yet feature-rich Uls. All members of the Hanoi office will be equipped with Paymentwall’s existing infrastructures and technologies to develop new and amazing products and solutions

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and coordinate releases to Production and/or Staging environments
  • Manage release cycle & processes
  • Implement policies for facilitating release processes
  • Track progress of released features
  • Track performance of released features
  • Coordinate on release issues
  • Manage the version of control system
  • Support Linux servers and services
  • Support MySQL databases
  • Assists developers with software development and deployment procedures
  • Performing database migrations
  • Running tests

Skills & Competencies Required

  • 3+ years of experience in release management, software engineering and/or configuration management in LAMP environments
  • Experience with 24 x 7 environments and no downtime releases
  • Experience with daily and multi-daily release cycles
  • Experience with Capistrano, Phing, svn extractor and other release automation software
  • Experience with database migration tools
  • Experience with version-control systems such as SVN, GIT
  • Understanding of QA process and automation tools
  • Experience with PHP and other programming languages
  • Unix/Linux system administration experience
  • Good knowledge of Docker and Vagrant
  • Experience with ELK stack, Consul (or similar tools), SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud services
  • Communication skills
  • Good English
  • Ability to multi-task and priorities
  • University bachelor or above required
