As a Chargeback Analyst, you will provide vital support to Paymentwall’s fraud and risk management efforts by effectively analysing, resolving, and directing strategy to detect and prevent chargeback activities. You will pro­actively contribute to the identification of system improvements, new strategies and technologies related to the chargeback process.

What you’ll do:

  • Review, investigate, and resolve chargeback disputes accurately and in a timely manner while strictly adhering to various payment system requirements as well as domestic and international chargeback rules and regulations; 

  • Analyze chargeback issues and reports for Paymentwall and its clients; 

  • Maintain strong professional knowledge on all internal and network processing system and provide a high standard for chargeback productivity and quality 

  • Provide support to system functionality, chargeback process and dispute lifecycle 

  • Work collaboratively with other teams, e.g, Merchant Risk and Fraud, communicate chargeback irregularities and fraud trends, and share ideas on solutions to minimize fraud and chargeback cases.

What you’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, communication or any related discipline

  • 2+ years obligatory experience in chargeback processing within an online payments space;

  • Strong knowledge of Visa/MasterCard rules and procedures;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Capability and flexibility to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays
