ABOUT US

For our new office in the heart of Amsterdam, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager. This is a new feature and you're a part of our growing sales team in Europe. The purpose of this role is to Payment Wall 's increasing presence in the Dutch and European market by creating new partnerships with clients who are active in digital content and web services landscape, achieving and exceeding sales targets, revenue generation and contributing to our rapid growth in various global markets. As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals, building strong relationships with customers, recruit, select and train new sales staff, defining and establishing long-term team goals and strategies .

 

DESCRIPTION FUNCTION

you get in the position of Business Development Manager responsible for:

  • Developing new business through finding and recognizing potential customers and markets

  • Achieving sales targets within the European market, you build the appropriate international channels and develops it further

  • Understanding and analyzing the business model of new customers and providing advice

  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process from lead generation and pitching new clients; negotiations; sign agreements; and then transfer the deal to the account management team

  • Presenting Payment Wall to potential clients through direct communication, face-to-face meetings, networking events, active aftersales

  • Representing Payment Wall at industry events and fairs  

  • Leading the sales team, including recruiting, training, managing and monitoring performance and results of the multi-cultural, regional Sales Teams

  • Coaching and share you knowledge and sales experience in the industry, proper business etiquette and follow-up procedures Junior Business Developer

  • Setting sales quotas and long-term goals

  • Participating in ad hoc marketing activities to raise Payment Wall's visibility in the current and growing markets

     

 REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of business development experience preferably within the online payments industry

  • 2+ years experience in leading and coaching of multicultural sales teams with a successful track record

  • The passion and drive sooner than getting things done

  • strong analytical skills

  • Proven track record of the ability to complete a full cycle with success sales

  • You're confident, vlooiend in English, friendly, fun, with a sense of humor and especially business savvy and customers can quickly understand business models

  • You can serious talks to go around technical topics

  • Experience in the payments and / or SaaS industry strong advantage

  • You have excellent business etiquette knowledge

  • Detail-orientated, positive attitude and the ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines tasks

  • Excellent intercultural skills and experience working in diverse teams
