Before launching Paymentwall, Honor was the CEO of OutCubator, a virtual incubator that launched innovative startups such as Adperk.com (incentivized video advertising platform), MiNeeds (services marketplace), Rofo.com (office space search engine) as well as Zurna.com (the #2 Turkish social network). While working on Zurna, he and his team pioneered virtual currency payments by integrating with various mobile and off-line payment methods to monetize the userbase.
In addition, Honor has an extensive experience with online communities going back to the early days of the Internet with a startup called MyCool.com. It offered customizable & remotely hosted bulletin board based communities to users around the world that competed with eGroups which was acquired by Yahoo. Prior to OutCubator, he founded Closo.com, an international ecommerce platform startup with a yearly sales volume of 3 million USD that supported cross-border trade between merchants and end-users in the US, Europe, and China.
Honor started his professional career as a Program Manager at Expedia.com. He worked with 12 cruiselines and unified them on a single platform and launched the initial version of the Cruise product, creating the world's largest cruise agency.
Honor speaks fluent English, French, Spanish, Turkish and is an intermediate in Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, and Russian. He graduated with a B.S in STS/Technology Management with a focus in HCI from Stanford University.
